My client is a national company with a brand that is instantly recognisable within Australia. Due to continued expansion in their Life Insurance business a new and highly technical role has been created to support the Sydney Assessing team from a technical perspective.
The role will see you specifically responsible for:
Being the department specialist for all IP claims
- Training, Coaching and Mentoring Claims and Senior Assessors
- Conducting Audits on files
- Relationship building with Advisors for all technical matters
- Recommendations of authority levels for all claims assessors
- External liaison with other departments including sales, underwriting and New business
As this role requires high technical knowledge you will need to demonstrate:
Substantial Claims Experience (ideally in IP)
A high degree of technical ability in high value and complex case reviews
An excellent understanding of Life products
Exceptional Communications Skills
Evidence of training or mentoring previously (ideally in life claims)
