My Client is a market leader in the Life Insurance Industry with an enviable position of growth and a focus on developing further their retail business.
The role of the State Manager is a strategic and operational role combined with a mixture of responsibility of leading the NSW underwriting team as well as providing strategic focus for the growth of the national business.
Specifically you will be responsible for:
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to be able to demonstrate:
Sound Life underwriting experience and highly technical
People Leadership ability within the Life Underwriting arena
Strong Advisor relationships and the ability to present to Advisers
Previous experience in underwriting highly complex applications
People development skills, coaching and mentoring Underwriters
Exceptional medical and financial knowledge.
Being a national company this role will see you sit on the senior leadership team for the underwriting team and really will be the career opportunity that will see you rise in the future into a more senior opportunity.

- Statistical reporting of key measures for the underwriting team
