Parkhouse Bell is currently looking for Recruiters for our client in the Sydney area. Our client provides various services to support jobseekers back into work. One of the key services they offer to clients is an employment services program that supports individuals to obtain employment and/or further training opportunities in the local community.
The Recruiter role is responsible for identifying and establishing external networks and relationships with local businesses and employers to source and secure further education and employment opportunities for jobseekers who may face various barriers to entering the workforce. This role also involves marketing job-ready clients to potential employers through approaching local businesses directly, cold calling, visiting employers workplaces, delivering presentations, and following up in a timely fashion.
Successful applicants will have:
- Experience in working with people who are unemployed
- An insight and understanding into the barriers facing the long term unemployed
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of working in a Job Services Australia, Job Network, DEN or VRS provider
- Experience in marketing, sales, telemarketing, cold calling and delivering presentations
- A good understanding of local labour market issues
- A results and outcomes focused approach
- Excellent time management and organisational ability
- Effective communication and presentation skills
Additionally any recruitment, marketing, business development, sales experience or qualifications will be highly regarded.
