The Game Plan: How You’ll Win that Championship Ring Run a Marathon, not a Sprint: Manage
all phases of development, including scoping, requirement analysis, system design, specification, development, testing, implementation, project warranty and operational readiness Watch the Clock: Ensure projects run on budget, on time and meet expectations Strong Defence: Identify and assess risks; develop and implement strategies to reduce those risks Coaching: Provide support in project management philosophies and methodologies to other IT team members; supervise and administer work undertaken by contractors Help Head Coach: Recommend project office/program or project methodology (SDLC) improvements to GM IT Subbing: Deputise for GM IT when necessary Effective Passing: Ensure operational handover is comprehensive and complete
