The Company
My client isa market leading software organisation with an impressive range of blue chip clients across the globe. With their ANZ HQ based in Sydney they are currently looking to hire two Education Consultants to join the team to develop and deliver technical product training to some of the largest Telcos in the world.
The Role
The first part of the role will see you observing technical workshops held by my clients Service Engineers and then use that content to develop and design training programs. You will then be responsible to deliver the training programs to my clients global customer base.
This is not just a training role however as you will have exposure to all the different areas of the development and deployment lifecycle and you will use your Business Analysis skills during business transformations to map out systems and build product simulations.
Skills and Experience
Ideally you will be an IT&T graduate with strong analytical skills and at least 1-2 years experience working in a large Telco or Software Development company. You will be self-motivated, adaptable and have the ability to think on your feet. You will have first-class presentation skills and be comfortable presenting content that is not quite finished or that you dont know all the answers too (you will never know all the answers!).
You will be IT&T savvy with strong Java skills and exposure to south bound interfaces and their protocols (SNMP / CORBA / TELNET) as you will be required to attend technical workshops and translate the content into training programs. You must also be able to translate technical concepts into plain English. Any Oracle PL/SQL experience or theoretical knowledge of Telco technologies (SDH/PDH, IP/MPLS, Ethernet etc will be highly regarded but not essential.
