Parkhouse Bell is looking for enthusiastic individuals who are interested in making a real difference in jobseekers' lives by supporting and helping them into employment and training opportunities.
Out client is recruiting for Employment Advisors for their sites in the East and South East Melbourne area. This company is an up and coming organisation in the Australian marketplace and they provide training and support to disadvantaged jobseekers; you will work amongst passionate staff members that get a real buzz out of helping people develop skills and achieve their end goal of gaining sustainable employment.
Successful applicants will have:
- An insight and understanding into the significant barriers facing the long term unemployed and other client groups trying to get into the workforce such as ex-offenders, non-English speakers, drug dependency, homelessness, etc
- Case management experience in Employment Services with an ability to engage with jobseekers using a variety of techniques and resources
- Experience in coaching individuals and groups in developing their employability skills
- A good understanding of local labour market issues
- Experience working towards regular KPIs, targets or deadlines
- Aresults and outcomes focused approach
- Excellent time management and organisational ability
- Effective communication and presentation skills
Employment Services, recruitment, marketing, business development and sales experience and/or qualifications will be highly regarded.
The salary range for this role is $50-55k plus super based on skills and experience.
