Case Officer/ Customer Sercive $45K

My client is an international company with over 300 employees in Australia. As a market leader in their field they offer exceptional benefits and now have a great opportunity for you to join them in an entry level position within their claims team.

The industry is the workers compensation industry and so you will be assisting people when they need you most after having an accident at work.

The role will specifically see you responsible for:

• Talking to injured workers to understand their injuries
• Helping them by arranging doctors appointments and specialist medical appointments with Physiotherapists
• Paying their benefits under workers compensation legislation
• Paying any medical expenses incurred by the person
• Liaising with the worker and their employer, keeping them up to date with the case
• Updating their computer records.

This is an ideal chance to move into the insurance industry if you can demonstrate:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Sound Office skills including ability to learn new computer systems
Ability to build rapport with people of all background
